After a nationwide search, our firm was selected as the architects for the development of the Master Plan for this magnificent chapel in the Motherhouse of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Our challenge for this project was to find ways in which this single space can be equally well suited for gatherings ranging in size from 150 to 800 people, while respecting the historic nature of the building. Changes in the color scheme and improvements to the lighting and sound system were also part of the design criteria. Using 3D models and photo montages of the interior, the Master Plan was presented to the community in October 2005 and received wide-spread acceptance by the community.
