Emmanuel Baptist Church in Albany, NY received a grant from the New York Landmarks Society for restoration work.
Traditional Building magazine is a well known, established source for historic building products. Not surprisingly, they occasionally feature places of worship as a building type, since so many of these buildings are historic. This is true of the December 2014 issue, which includes a feature called “Helping Historic Houses of Worship“. Although it contains a relatively short list of organizations that help save religious buildings, half of those on the list are organizations I frequently recommend to our clients.
