Even if you’ve been attending your church for years, you undoubtedly saw it from a new perspective once you saw it through the lens of the camera that was live-streaming or recording the liturgy, which has been the only way for most of us to participate in the liturgy since churches closed to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. You probably saw things you had never noticed before – including things that could use some improvement to enhance the liturgical environment. Whether this is the first time that you have thought about improving your worship environment for or you having been thinking about it for years, this workshop is the place to start. This workshop will open up questions for you to consider as you begin to plan your project. Some of the issues this workshop addresses are: Where to begin – a walk around your space and visioning the possibilities. Who is involved in the process and what are their roles? How do you prepare your congregation? What is a Master Plan and why is it important? And how can any of this be done in the midst of a global pandemic?
