Go into just about any church on a Sunday morning and, unless it’s on a college campus, you will be hard pressed to find many attendees in the 18-34 year old range. What do they think about today’s churches? Do they think about church at all? What, if anything, can be done to bring them through the doors of our churches and make them an active part of the our church communities?
The Barna Group is going to be presenting new research on what different groups of Millennials think about church architecture, worship space and connecting with God and others at the Cornerstone Alignment Conference in Chicago on October 22, 2013. The rest of the conference is dedicated to the practicalities of implementing some of the findings from this and other research. It sounds like a fascinating conference and I plan to attend. If you plan to attend as well, let me know!
